Hi Experts,
We recently upgraded from SRM-MDM Catalog 2.0 to 3.0 in our sandbox systems. Now I am facing one Problem. While creating Shopping Cart, I am getting error "Incomplete items in catalog. Only complete items were transferred".
when I checked in Logs in SRM (Transaction SLG1), it is displaying a message "Product and description are missing".
I crosschecked the OCI Mapping and reset it to standard, but still I am getting this error message. I double checked and Product ID and Short description fields are correctly mapped in OCI and data exists in MDM for these fields.
Please suggest in which way to proceed. Do you think it be because of Web service definition parameters?? Because in Development environment I am able to create shopping cart successfully with SRM-MDM Catalog 2.0. In Sandbox environment we tested with Same data and same configurations and SRM-MDM Catalog 3.0, but it is giving error.
Below are the system details with which we are facing problem:
SRM server: 5.0
SRM-MDM Catalog: 3.0 Sp06 Patch 1
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Best Regards,
Shiv
Hi,
I have come across this exact issue previously, an upgrade to SRM-MDM 3.0 SP07 Patch 4 has resolved this issue.
I would advise that you upgrade to this newer version and retest this issue. There are no notes released with fixes to SRM-MDM they are only deployed within patches/support packages.
This should resolve the issue.
Kind Regards,
Lisa

Hi,
Please note the OCI mapping depends on catalog logon user. I often set the oci mapping to wrong user.

Thanks Masa,
But the OCI is fine for the user.. we are thinking to create a message for SAP and then will see the reason for the problem..
Do you think it could be because of web service definition. Because we have not changed web service definition and still using same definition as of SRM-MDM Catalog 2.0. We are able to view the catalog and search for catalog items.

Shiv
Hello Shiv,
Do you have this problem for all users and/or for all existing product categories in your catalog ?
If this happens sporadically, you could check if product category you shop is assigned or not in 'Extended Attrbutes' tab for user with whom you create your shopping cart.
You can also have a look at BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER BAdI.
Regards.
Laurent.
