Oracle software not installed. Install Oracle software before continuing

Hi Folks,

I'm installing NW7.40 SR2 Dual stack PI system on Windows 2008 R2 OS with Oracle 11.2.0.3 DB for DR setup. Used sapserver.cmd to install Oracle software and initiated the SAP installation using latest SWPM 1.0 SP25. Unfortunately, it is giving the error

Oracle software not installed. Install Oracle software before continuing

I set manually ORACL_HOME which was not exist and given retry but still no luck.

Tried to set softlink <Drive>:/oracle/<SID>/112_64 but it is not working (Actual production system doesn't have any softlink and it only applicable for Linux env as per SAP note 1524205)

It clearly says that ORACLE_HOME undefined from the following logs but even setting up it manually (SYSTEM/User wide) doesn't help. How to bypass this issue.

Thanks a lot

First run the Oracle software installation using an Administrator user. Once the installation you just need to make sure that the ORACLE_HOME and the PATH variables are set correctly for the <SID>adm user. Start the SAP installation again using an Administrator user. The best option here is to cleanup the failed installation and start again.

Thanks a lot RB, just checked <Sid>adm user's ID where evn is set as Oracle_home as 'Undefined'.. changed it into correct value fixed the issue.. thanks a lot for your help. :)
