Configuring Dynamic SFTP Server IP address

Hi All,

I have a requirement to provide dynamic SFTP server IP address in adapter. I tried to find solution on scn but nothing I got handy

Can you please provide any link or any suggestion to configure it. It would be great help.

Hey Binod,

Create a header/property where in you would register the IP address of SFTP,

just before you call the SFTP adaptor create a content modifier with header name as CamelFileName type expression and value of the IP and path.

In sftp adapter leave the directory and filename empty

We are using this for one of our customer 🙂

Did you try maintaining the dynamic Server IP address in a header field under Content modifier and mentioning the header field in the address field of SFTP channel?

I didn't find anything related to "Content Modifier" in SFTP channel. Are you telling this configuration for CPI ? I am trying to do it in PI 7.40.
