ESS - shopping cart dump

Hi guys,

When i try to enter the shopping cart through portal: Employee Self-Services ==> Shop. I am amble to see the iView with the first step to shop. But when i click on "next step" or "Describe your request/demand" i get the next dump:

Any help would be welcome.

It seems like there is something wrong with the Web Dynpro Abap application. Could it be some wrong customizing ?

I'm on SRM 7.0 SP 3, we will upgrade to SP6. I hope it will help.

Hi,

Please check if you have configured workflow. SC has workflow approver preview UI. It looks dump is created in some initialization point.

This error is definitely being caused by workflow configuration as Masa mentioned.

You can check the workflow config in SPRO - SAP SRM - SRM server- Cross Application Basic settings - Business workflow..

We had the similar issue when we upgraded from SRM 5.0 to 7.0 recently and it was the workflow config causing the error.

We had to choose application controlled workflow as process controlled was set by default after upgrade but we had the config done for application controlled not for process controlled and we wanted to use existing workflows.

Imp Note -The process-controlled workflow framework is the default framework in SAP SRM 7.0. Note that the application-controlled workflow is only intended to be used in SAP SRM 7.0 if you upgrade from SAP SRM 5.0 or earlier and you need to continue using your existing workflows.

Check with your workflow config and hope this info will be useful for you to resolve issue.
