Yes, exactly, move to the igs/bin directory and then run:
"igswd_mt -mode=ALL -dir=.." (for IGS 6.40)
"igswd_mt -mode=profile pf=<path to the instance profile>" (for IGS >=7.00)

IGS starts when you start the SAP instance.
Can you check if you have IGS files in your kernel.
If not, download the IGS patch and extract it in your kernel directory and restart the instance.

Hello,
try starting the IGS using the startigs scripts. If the script is not available, as it seems is your case, then move to the igs/bin directory and run:
- On Unix/Linux platforms:
"igswd_mt -mode=ALL -dir=.." (for IGS 6.40)
"igswd_mt -mode=profile pf=<path to the instance profile>" (for IGS >=7.00)
- On Windows platforms:
Go to the igs/bin directory and run:
"igswd.exe -mode=ALL -dir=.." (for IGS 6.40)
"igswd.exe -mode=profile pf=<path to the instance profile>" (for IGS >=
7.00)
let me know the results.

Blanca
