disp+work.exe stopped

Dear All,

We have installed our Devlopmnet server & SOLMAN on same system. Development is working fine. but solman disp+work.exe is stopped . When we are restarting it its getting turned green but after 2 minutes its stopped.

It was working fine earlier. i have pasted developer traced log below. pls help

Are you lock this user, or change password ? What do you change before this happend ?

Hi,

Make sure that user is not LOCKED.

Also check if you can login to windows using above user..

Again LISTENER service should be up and runnig (Check in Services console...)

I have not changed password or locked any user. I have only updated the OS(Windows 2008). After restart this problem started.

Ooo i do not like 2008 at all ) Try to check this user are ok ?

Try to check in regedit -->

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

what do you see ? Are any *.bak profile here?

Hi,

the problem is, that the default database of the SAPServiceSMR user is not accessible:

Error/Message: (err 4060, sev 0), Cannot open database "SMR" requested by the login. The login failed. C Procname: [OpenOledbConnection - no proc] C sloledb.cpp

Connect to the SQL Server with a different account (sa or smradm or any other local admin) and check the status of the database. Check the SQL Server errorlog for problems with the database.

You seem to be on 32bit. Windows 2008 is not supported on 32bit operating systems.

Also updating the operating system is not supported. The upgrade from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 must be done using a homogeneous system copy.
