Production Order issue

Dear Gurus!

I have issue with production order:

When I do confirmation for prodcution order. After that I found activity quantity in routing (Let say labor time) not correct. I go to CA02 change Activity quantity. After that I cancel confirmation and confirm again. I hope it will new data in routing for Production Order cost (KKBC_ORD) but it doesnt.

What wrong with production order. I'm quite newbie in Production Order.

Hi,

When you create the order system reads the routing for that order only once, after that, if you change the quatity in routing , it does not effect the order you already created. So that is the reason your data is not changed in KKBC, if you really want to change the exsisting order activity, the GOTO change order, click on OPERATION tab, angin click on the standard value, noe change the data of activites quantity. this may help you out.

Dear Friend,

For making material cost relevant with being not prsent in BOM, you can *treat it as activity* like POWER ,WATER etc., but for this you have to enter the new activity in Std. Value key.which is assinged to work center and the workcenter is assinged for the particular operation in routing.

Suppose , you have partially confirmed the order (PCNF status to order), then also you can change the activity quntity in Prd. order. For this goto OPERATIONS >> double click on the operation containing the workcenter to which, you have assigned the std value key, then >> std .value tab>>> enter the values....

generally WATER, POWER are treated as activities.

relating to Read PP master data function.:

As you have performend the Confirmation , now its not possible for you to use "READ PP-MASTER DATA function"

Hi Tommy,

1 In Co02 from menu goto Function ---> read PP master data again to recalculate the Cost

2 Again confirm the order after changing the activity unit

3. Make sure you have configured for costing variant ( Actual/ plan ) , a tick in Product cost collector in Order type dependent

parameters in Controlling Tab

Hi,

You have changed the master data after you confirmed or released the Order. if you want to reflect the changed master data into your Production order , You need Read the master data at Poductiion order level.changes done at master date will takes in to effect into your production order with this functionality so corrct costing will be reflected

Hi Tommy,

As said by others you need to perform the READ PP MASTER DATA to enable you to get the corrected master data i.e. the activities. But you have said you have performed confirmation, in case you have carried out confirmation and goods movements for any of the the operations then i am afraid to say that the changes in master data cannot be corrected through READ PP master data, since read pp master data only works when the goods movements has not taken place for the production order. So the alternative solution is to cancel the confirmation and then teco the production order and then again create a new production order with the fresh data.

Dear ,

Routing is master data for Production Order .Now when you are changeing Labor Activity Hrs in Routing for a base qty , it will be updated when you will call the Read-PP master data based on the status of the production order line Not Confriamed ,CRTD,REL.When you call that function then it will update the Production order based on the changes you did in routing

Here you need set the production order status CRTD again by hitting the Blue I and goto -Function -Read PP master Data -It will pop up with Window (BOM AND ROUTING ) -Continue and update .

Otherwise , you need to go to CO02-Operation Ovierview-Operlin line itema -Doul click -Select Standard Values -Labour Hrs -Updated the Qty and Hist cost calcualtor and Save .

Hope this will solve the issue
