Auto Generation of BP Code

Hi Experts..

I want the System needs to generate the BP Code Automatically..

Suppose if its Customer means it Needs To generate "C10001" and Vendor Means "V10001".

Is there any SP or Query to do this??

Pls give me some solution in detail.
