SAPLPD/SAPWIN driver 3.0 (e182 toshiba) bar code printing

Hello,

We are using driver(SAPLPD/SAPWIN driver 3.0) for our toshiba printer e450 and it is printing bar code also.

Now we have got 4 new toshiba printers e182, and I am using same driver (SAPLPD/SAPWIN driver 3.0) but it compress the size of the overall printing to 25% on A4 page but keeping barcode size and fonts size same as normal.

Is there anyway to fix this issue,

I did use the printer driver also but that does not prints the barcode I have tried all option in 'Host spool access method'

Please suggest !!

regards,

JPS

That's not related to SAP. Check printer own configuration panel. Get latest driver. Call manufacturer support.

What do you mean?

Thanks, I have spoken to Toshiba and they have sent me the driver link for e182 and I have imported new driver and tested with Host spool access method types C,F,L and S but no bar code printed...

But when I am using 'SAPLPD/SAPWIN driver 3.0' with host spool access type S, it prints the bar code but compress the whole print to 25% towards left hand side on A4 sheet. But works fine on e450 printer...

Did you already print something successfully? If yes, what was the exact configuration, what differences with your current tests?

Print a normal text from SAP OS system (lp ... > ..., or commands according to your OS). If it prints at 25%, then the issue is from the printer configuration (not from SAP printer configuration).

Note: don't use F access method, use G! (F is obsolete)

===Printer works fine but does not print bar code.

Note: don't use F access method, use G! (F is obsolete)

==But when I use use driver (SAPLPD/SAPWIN driver 3.0) it prints bar code but compress the total print window to 25% and keeps font size and bar code size as normal (which results in overlapping).

===We are on 4.7 enterprise version, so I can't find 'G' method.

when "it works", is text printed at 100% using SAPWIN/S method?

what kind of barcode techno is it, new or classic?

which form technology is it, sapscript or smart form or something else?

Sorted !!

Many thanks for your helping hand.

The issue has been sorted by adding 'EN' in the output attributes tab (spad/printer) field SAP cover page language.

But amazing thing is we never used SAP cover page.

I agree, amazing! Maybe Note 887940 - Spool title pages: Text becomes ### in MDMP systems, or a bug never met yet until today.

Thx for the feedback!
