Screen Customization in Portal Adaptation in C4C do not reflect to Portal

Hello Experts,

We have built a customer self service portal in order to create service requests. By default this portal displays only few fields. When I am trying to add more fields by going to Administrator -> service and Social -> Portal Queue -> Adapt the new ticket creation screen and add some fields, these newly added fields are not visible in Portal. Is there anything more which needs to b done in order to achieve this?

Hi Gayatri,

This Portal queue adaptation is not applicable for any custom service portal created by the customers. It can be used only for the standard portal widgets delivered by SAP(Old portal solution and Old AskHR).

You can create fields in Service Portal and map it to C4C via relevant odata calls.

Hello Sandeep, i am in a similar situation. I have the Open Social C4C widgets and they will not updated according to how i modify them. I have a HCP Portal Site - with a Clear Cache setting option as instructed, but in clearing the cache nothing changes.

Its the Old portal solution / Old AskHR i am referring to.

Any thoughts?

Hi Sandeep,

I have created portal using HCP by deploying the contents provided by SAP in github. Does this setting not applicable such portal as well?
