crw32.exe error

"crw32.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." This is the error i am receiving when i press F5 to refresh the report or when prievew button is pressed. Till yesterday eberything is working fine. I am using crystal reports 2008 (12.0.0.549)

    Hello,

    You are using the original release. Try download Service Pack 1 which is a full build and Service Pack 3.

    You can get them from clicking on the Businessobjects Tab above, then Crystal Reports...., downloads and the link in the middle of the page. Then fill in the filters for 2008.

    Then test again. If it still fails need more info, Version of Windows, firewalls, anti-virus, installed as local PC administrator...

    • Download Service Pack 1 as I suggested first. The SP 3 will then work. You can get SP1 from the same place you got SP3.

      SP 1 is a full build which will require you to un-install current install. Once SP1 is installed then you can apply the incremental SP3 patch.
