EA-SCM activation in ECC 6.0: functional impact

Hi,

We plan to activate with SFW5 the EA-SCM Extension set in a ECC 6.0 system.

We would like to know if this extension only extends the functinality of the existing modules (that is, adds functionality) or if this changes any of the modules that exist when ECC 6.0 has not the EA-SCM activated. Is there any documentation regarding this in the marketplace?
