IDoc xml to IDoc flat File.

Hi..

My scenario is as follows:

R/3 is the Sender systtem. IDoc PEXR2002 is sent to PI. I have a File Receiver Adapter configured in XI.

I want to convert this IDoc XML to IDoc flat file in PI.

Kindly guide me with detail steps.

I have tried using StrictXML2Plain Bean, but I do not understand the exact module parameters and their values.

Hi Pratibha,

Which PI version you are using, if it is PI 7.11 ,then you can use the newly introduced a Java adapter

user-module as suggested.

You can write a java mapping to achieve the same which read the meta data and converts the XML to flat file.

Other way could be that SAP side itself the IDOC XML to Flat file conversion can be done using file port,in that case PI can be used to simply pick and place the file.

Please refer the following document on how to convert IDOC xml to flat filewhich suggest ABAP mapping if you are in lower PI version.
