BPC MS 7 in Windows 7

Is there any documentation to install BPC MS ver 7 client in microsoft windows 7 environment ?

Hi,

Windows 7 is not supported with BPC 7.0. I think it will be the case with BPC 7.5

however you can install BPC 7 on a Windows 7 environment with some work around.

But it's not supported. Do you need any hekp?

Rumor is 7.0 SP8 may support windows 7. Could be wrong tho. Then there's the whole x86 vs x64 question....

I have sucessfully installed it on a window's 7 machine. The only thing is it must be 32 bit not 64. Also when you goto install the client on IE8 you must start IE8 as the administrator so that it will bypass the security settings. Once installed you will have to lauch Excel from IE8 (administator mode) for the first time so it can download the local settings. Once that is done things should work fine.
