SAC connection to Analysis for Office - save workbook

Dear All,

I wanted to ask, whether is here someone, who will be able to help with the SAP Analytics Cloud connection in Analysis of Office (2.7 SP4 from 1st Feb 2019), in terms of workbook save.
I have prepared a structure of the data from SAC data model and is there any chance to save the workbook and use it later for a data refresh? Or is it the way, that each time, the SAC data source must be connected again and again, which means to create the data structure from scretch?

Thank you for any help!

Best regards,
Vaclav

Hello Vaclav,

you would save it in the same way as it would be connected to SAP BW or SAP HANA.

Hello Tammy, hello Ingo,

you are right both, thanks for your replies!
The solution is to save it as a pure .xlsx with the refresh option inside, which connects to SAC.

Have a nice day!

Vaclav

My testing (I could be wrong) is I can re-open the workbook and refresh all - so yes, the model needs to be connected to SAC source. Do I understand your question?
