Production Order phontom alternative?

Hi All

Now I Have A Bom With Phantom Alternative such as A & B ,Percentage is 100/0.

Then I Create A Production Order WIth Co01 ,The Order Will Have A & B Also their Low Materials.

So Where Can I Configure The Phantom B And it's Low Materials will Not appear in Production Order???

SAP help on alternative item says that you define a priority, usage probability and strategy. the strategy can either be:

1.) Withdrawal according to usage probability (manual changes possible)

2.) Withdrawal if availability is 100%

If you select strategy 1 , then MRP plans based according to usage probability. This in turn is dependent on the qty reqd for header matl. So alt items can't have fixed qty.

if you select startegy 2, the availability checks uses ATP logic according to the priorities you define.

Whichever item is 100% available first based on priority, will be selected. It again depends on the qty reqd for header matl.

From the description, i assume you would like to select strategy 2.

However it is not possible to leave the alternative item with a usage probablity of 0% during MRP run and plan only for the other alternative item with usage probablity of 100%.The main purpose of alternative items is for the information purposes and to be used for withdrawal purposes

during production order creation with the help of strategies maintained in the alternative item group.This is a standard sap functionality.

My company Choose Strategy 2.

But Because of Phantom Items,they will not have stock.

so ATP Check Will Not Considering This phantom items.

Then Production Items req qty Dependent On the Phantom of 100%,that 0% Item For my company is excrescent.

so I Want to know where can I Configure ,That the phantom with 0% will disapper in the Production when I Create with CO01.

But Get from your answer,This is a standard sap functionality.for My purpose will choose ADD-On Is the Only Way.

I Still Suprise that I Create PlanOrder with MD11,PlanOrder Items will not have Phantom Item with 0%......How can this Explain??
