Semantic Object list not appearing in designer on clicking F4 Help

Dear Fiori Experts,
I am facing an issue of not being able to see the custom semantic objects that i have created in the Fiori Launchpad Designer on using the F4 Help icon while creating a new static app tile as shown in the image below.

I have also tried clearing my browser cache as well as clearing the clearing the cache on the SAP GUI Client but still the semantic objects don't appear.
Kindly suggest any solution as to how i would be able to see the custom semantic objects on the launchpad designer.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Did you maintain view /UI2/V_SEMOBJC (transaction SM30) with your custom semantic object? People tend to forget to maintain this, cause you can enter any semantic object in de launchpad designer (even if it's not maintained in this view).

Hi Greet-Jan Klaps
Yes i have maintained the custom semantic objects as you mentioned. In the image below are the custom semantic objects i have maintained

Also i would like to mention that the client(100) i have created the custom semantic objects is the same client i used for logging in the launchpad designer but they do not load in the F4 help option automatically.

Hi,

Could you double check if you don't get any errors in the browser console? And maybe let us know on which system version you're working (SAP_UI component).

Best regards,

Hi,

Can you check if the interop service was activated in the system and a system alias was assigned? (transaction /n/IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE)

If so, maybe try to refresh the metadata cache for the service.

Best regards,

Geert-Jan Klaps

Thank you so much Greet-Jan Klaps!!!!
you have solved my problem. After checking the ZINTEROP Services i noticed it hadn't been assigned any System Alias. Once i Added the system alias to the said OData Service and refreshed the metadata every single custom semantic object loaded automatically as shown below.

Thank you once again!! Cheers.
