Hi Srini,

You can use the sapccmsr for monitoring the operation system of the web dispatcher server.

Also, you can monitoring the webdispatcher service with GRMG

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp2/helpdata/en/80/de84429069de54e10000000a155106/frameset.htm

With GRMG you can configure to test the TCP port of webdispatcher.

With the agent CCMS you can monitoring the log files:

Hi Clebio,

Thanks for the information.

I tried to monitor the url using GRMG LITE ,but the scenario in TCODE GRMG is not starting.

I got the below error.

"Scenario: AVAILWEB 001 001; status message: Reason for HTTP failure:HTTP communication failure"

Please help to solve this....

Thanks,

Srini

Hello Srini,

Are you using the correct port and hostname in GRMG scenario?

The error "Reason for HTTP failure:HTTP communication failure" means that the GRMG was not able to connect in the web disaptcher.

Check the ICM trace file (dev_icm) at the same timestamp of the error in GRMG scenario.

There is, probably, an error related to this failure.

Cheers, Clebio

Hello,

You can Monitor Web Dispatcher in Solution Manager System.

Please go through the general steps written in the below Blog

HI Nagendra,

Thanks for the blog, I have followed your blog for managed system configuration and I am having issue with step 4.

when I check load balancer host and port it says reached and returned  http code 401 error. so it is related with unauthorized. Usually we used to give user credential in step 4 enter system parameters for ABAP/JAVA stack, but I don't find any input here. So what credential it is using here.

Also under web dispatcher parameter by default is has following, can we keep this is as default ?

Relative Admin URL: /sap/admin/

Admin http port : 500xx

Inst Number: xx

Thanks

Hello Dominic,

When I checked for recent integration on my Solman Systems, the load balancer host details are not maintained in the step 4. There are no monitoring metrics retrieved out of this.

The parameters you have mentioned for are correct and let them be maintained as it is.

You can proceed with next steps

Thanks Nagendra, this load balancer host parameter is not mandatory to complete the setup, however web dispatcher host parameters are mandatory which can be identified in webdisp.pfl.

I was able to complete the setup.

Thanks
