Hi,

I am performing sizng for ERP system.

I am checking benchmark result "SAP SD Standard Application Benchmark Results, Two-Tier Internet Configuration " at

http://www.sap.com/solutions/benchmark/sd2tier.epx

I am not sure about "Two-Tier Internet Configuration " & how it will affect my sizing. I am going toget details from fucntional consultant for users etc. , I will calculare SAPS,memory & thinking of cross checking with benchmark given above.But not sure about this 'Two-Tier Internet Configuration '

Can somebody please explain me

In this context two tier stands means database and sap instance on one single server. So you have the clients (presentation layer) and server layer.

Three tier would mean that you have the sap instance(s) and database separated on different servers. Then you have clients, sap application layer and database server.
