0MAT_SALES_TEXT description change

HI gurus,

I have a extractor 0MAT_SALES_TEXT,

Where this extractor is getting only Medium description, but i want long description ,

how to get long description through this extractor.

your inputs was appriciated.

Hi,

By defeult it will give, Small, Mediam and Large Text. Else add Zfield to 0MAT_SALES_TEXT and based on some Primary Keys you can fetch teh data from Tables in ECC i.e. DataSource Enhancements.

See in Transformations the mapping..

Thank for your reply....

I am not getting long desp into PSA....

by default it has given medium desp...

but when i seen the structure of this extractor their the three descptions was given but only medium was taken to extractor..

so now i want to get the long desp also....

if i need to enhance the extractor how is that possible to get and map medium and long desp to desp in BI?

HI,

If you have the long description at data source level, please map that into the transformation and load the data, if you don't have the long description at data source level then you have to go for the enhancement, by writing the code at CMOD transaction code by mentioning your data source and as per your logic.

hi,

Are you getting the long discription in the PSA.

if yes then it might not be mapped in the transformation. (medium desc. would be mapped in the transformation)
