Error while login on ESS/MSS portal

Hi Experts,

We have ESS\MSS installed on our portal . Here goes the configuration

SAP EP 7.0 with EHP1

SAP ECC 6.0 with EHP 4

we recently upgraded our portal with EHP1. From that time onwards we are getting the below error frequently (On Click of ESS/MSS tab).

com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: ComponentUsage(FPMConfigurationUsage): Active

component must exist when getting interface controller. (Hint: Have you forgotten to create it with createComponent()? Should

the lifecycle control of the component usage be "createOnDemand"?

we have tried with restarting the system , It works for first few logins after that it comes permanently.

Note:- We have not modified any standard components

Should we try with deploying ESS?MSS package again?

Thanks

Surender Dahiya

    Hi,

You need the ESS/MSS release compatible with ECC6 EHP4.

Check the wiki on SDN for a great release dependency table for ESS/MSS and ECC6.

    Regards,

    Olivier

    Hi all,

After checking the compatibility. Check with another ess user also. Make sure the backend configurtion are done for HRUSER for HCM.

    Regards,
