Problem in Stock creation

Hi,

While creating material through MB1C, I am getting error message 'No stock posting possible for this material'.

On expanding the error I get the below message-

'The material belongs to a material type whose stocks are not managed on a quantity basis.'

Pls advice..

Go to OMS2, select the material type against which you were trying to post the stock and double click on "Quantity/value updation".

There tick the box for Qty updating and save. Now retry the process

In customization of material types it is defined for each material type and plant whether it manages quantity and value in stock.

In your case, just choose a different material type, one that manages stocks, like for example HAWA.
