In content Server can not access doc from anther PC

hi all,

m going to implement sap content server.

installation is done, OAC0 and OACT configuration is also done.

every thing is fine, upload Doc through cv01n, but when i m going to access this doc from another PC.

its not work, and when using same PC is its open the DOC.

means this is using upload PC PATH.

please suggest what i can do?

its something related to Kpro configuration. please describe and suggest me solution..

Hi Vivek,

This is not a content server issue. You need to define the application in DC30 while configuring workstation applications in network please select the type as "PC".

Then these docs will open at all PC's.

I hope this will resolve the query.

its related to data carrier (front end PC include)

Another problem is there

object link tab, document browser tab, and Authorization tab does not show in cv01n

if any one know please help me

Hi there

Object Link tab will come when you assign object link to document type.

Authorization tab and document browser tab will come when you active them in Active Document Browser and ACL within SPRO => Cross-Apps => DMS => Control Data - Check Browser Flag and ACLs Flag

If you don't see, try to active PLM extension in SFW5

how to add other SAP objects In Object links like invoice object which are not included in object link table.

hello all

i am facing problem in data carrier creation actually i am creating data carrier type PC and i want set as default for all desktop

after DEFINE DATA CARRIER TYPE SERVER, FRONT END and Select PC and IDENTIFY FRONT END COMPUTER its shows

No entries found that match selection criteria

Message no. SV004

Diagnosis

No entries were found when importing data from the data base.

Procedure

If you have specified selection conditions, start the transaction again with conditions that are less restricted.

You can make new entries independently of this. To do this, select the function New entries in menu Edit.
