display errors in win 7

We've got a problem with displaying a report on a computer running windows 7 and CR XI that I can't work out.

All of the data fields come through to the report fine, and formulas all calculate correctly.

Text fields, however, all stack up one letter on top of the other.

This problem only happens with one particular report; other reports run on the same computer display properly. The report displays properly on other computers that are not running windows 7.

I can get the same effect on other computers by forcing the character spacing to 1 pt. On the win 7 computer, setting the character spacing to something like 10 pt makes the field readable, but you end up with a fixed character spacing that doesn't look right.

Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this?

We're not running R2, so cannot update to the latest SP to solve the issue, and as it only happens with one report, I'm not 100% convinced it is a win 7 issue.
