But my issue is when I have cancelled 2 invoices wherein accounting document has not generated for cancellation invoices (S1) coz period was closed for the month of January. Again without identify accounting issue I have created the same invoice with reference to Delivery.

My query is u2013 Is it possible to create one more invoice if the earlier invoice cancellation accounting document is not posted.

It happened from my end. now I am finding out the root cause .

Based on your case there can be 2 possibility:

Possibility 1.

Billing Doc created and canceled but no accounting doc for Billing doc generated. In that, there is no prob in creating new billing doc with ref to delv. Alo, correspondingly check the ref doc status, it should be either open or yet to invoice, before creating a billing doc.

Possibility 2.

Billing Doc created and canceled but accounting doc for Billing doc. Then check what is the status of the ref doc status. If it s not open or yet invoice. The system will not allow you to create a billing doc.

Also, check Billing quantity in your copying control's item cal of billing.

Hope it can assist you in understanding.

Thanks & Regards

Hi,

Once the invoice is cancelled system will allow the user to create another invoice irrespective of posting to accounting.

But if you save the cancelled invoice after opening the posting period or by changing the date in billing doc header accounting information, it will be definitely posted into accounting.
