Intergrated Planning - Aggrigation is not maintained. Reference data was not found

In Planning when I maintain data at Customer level level, I am able to maintain information and save successfully.

When I drill down the report to detailed level then data was divided. For cases where data is maintained can be further modified and saved.

For cases where data value is not available not even zero, We are not able to maintain data.

Below is the error message:

Aggrigation is not maintained. Reference data was not found
No data records found for distrubution
Validation Failed

del1.png : I am able to save and update data in Planning Report.

del2.png : I am able to modified values that exist or has 0. But empty values are editable but gives me error. Once marked in yellow are giving me the error.

Hi Ravi,

if a cell contained in the result set of the query is only based on one record (with respect to the aggregation level) changing a cell value changes a key figure value in this record; if the record does not exist, the record will be created (assuming the record is valid).

Other cells in the result set of the query may represent aggregated data and may be empty, i.e. there exist not posted records contributing to the cell value. Then the system tries to disaggregate an entered cell value. But what to do if there are no contributing records? This is what the message tries to tell you (read the long text). If there are no contributing records one cannot determine weight factors and thus the disaggregation has to fail.

One would need rule to generate records contributing to the empty cell, and in fact, there are query settings that allow to model this (check the documentation). But as long as disaggregation is based on posted data only, disaggregation has to fail.

Cf. note 994853 (attached PDF document) for all details about disaggregation, note 2447006 describes some more recent features.

Regards,

Gregor
