friends, thanks for taking time to read this message..
Anyone aware off a program job to create an enterprise alias account every time an Windows Ad Account that gets added to business objects?
SAP has an Enterprise Alias Manager tool built into the BI Support Platform Application that lets us add/remove alias account however it involves manual intervention.
I looked into the sap note - 1804839 and tried using the jar files and schedule the program job per sap note, although the job runs fine I don’t see enterprise alias being created..
If you used the script in KBA 1804839 it should work, if not then something is wrong with the script. Possibly creating a post regarding that script for the SDK team would help. We don't use the script much anymore since the platform support tool started allowing an interface, but for automation you need to get the script working.

I don't know of any third-party tool available that does this. Also, although it is possible to create the alias in code using the SDK, I don't know of any way to add the alias at the time when the AD user is created. The best I can think of would be to schedule a program (written with the SDK and descendant of IProgram) to run 5 minutes after the AD Update is scheduled to run.
