Delivery Creation Date is earlier than the Scheduling line date in SD Sales order

Hi experts,

I have received a issue in SAP Sales order --> Delivery creation. I have received a case from the customer where

delivery creation date is earlier than the Scheduling line date in the sales order. In Quality landscape

when I tried I am not able to replicate. I have attached screenshots.

Consignment Order

Delivery Creation date in 07th Jan

Scheduling line date in the order is 08th

As per standard the Delivery creation date should be equal to Scheduling line date in SAP Sales order .I am not able to figure out this deviation in some of the orders. Please help

Outbound deliveries are selected based on planned delivery creation date. This date is the earliest of material availability date and transportation planning date in the schedule line.

As per my knowledge planned GI date may be 01/07/2019 but the actual GI date should be equal to the scheduling line date in the sales order (ie) 01/08/2019 ? Is it?

In LIKP-ERDAT is updated as 07/01/2019.

In Processing tab planned GI Date is updated as 07/01/2019 but delivery date is updated as 08/01/2019 . So Delivery would be created in planned GI date?.

The same is which is copied from the order . If the delivery is created w.r.t to planned GI date then what is the Delivery date here means? Is it the GI Date+Number of days to reach the customer?

As per standard the Delivery creation date should be equal to Scheduling line date in SAP Sales order

As per the screenshot you have shared,sales Order was created on 03/01/2019 and outbound delivery was created on 07/01/2019.Hence, delivery creation is greater than sales order creation. Please re-check.

Coming to your query:

Please go to VL03N> Enter Delivery Number (Press enter)> In Menubar,Goto>Header>Processing. Share that screenshot of processing tab.(Check the planned GI date).This should answer to your question.
