error while creating material

Hi all,

Whlie creating material for Sales Org,it is not taking and giving below error.

The plant 000X does not exist for sales organization 000X / distr. channel

I check all the enterprise structure assignments and it has been taken.

Please help.

Hi,

The plant 000X,sales organization 000X/distr.channel are not assign to the respective plant. So, the error message display during material create to the plant.

Check plant assign link to the enterprises structure.

Hi,

You have defined & assigned sales organization & distr. channel

Now in SAP IMG> Enterprise Structure> Consistency Check> Check enterprise structure for Sales & Distribution.

If some error are there correct it.

hi,

check for the assignment of salesorg/distribution channel to the particular plant for which you are creating the material.

hi,

delete the assignment which you made already and make a new asignment of the same combination of sales org/distribution channel and palnt.some times it may happen like this due to the data updation problem

also you ensure that you are giving the same plant during the material creation.
