No warning message in SHDB recording

Hi,

I am new in BDC programming and has come across one issue.

System throws a warning message when I enter name 'TR. EN HANDELFGGDDHDHJHHG A.M. DE H1' in name field of first screen to Create Vendor. Warning message is 'The use of the last 5 character in field NAME1 is restricted'

But when I do the same thing while recording through SHDB then I do not see any warning message.

Can someone please advice me why behaviour of transaction FK01 is different in both scenario.

I can't answer specifically, but Warning and Information messages are ignored by batch input, so is it a problem in your case, or are you just curious? (many standard programs behave differently in batch input probably so that they can be executed in batch input, because of the technical limits of the batch input technology)
