Hi,
We have encountered an interesting problem while working with Xcelsius 2008 SP2 pertaining to date time formatting. We have setup a dashboard report that holds a date in a cell in the Excel sheet which is then linked to a label in the report.
The dates value is (in general format): 39465.08333
If one were to format the cell that holds this value one will see that Excel formats the date as "18/01/2008 02:00:00 AM" (or in whichever date format is applicable).
If one were to then add a label to the report and link the label to this cell (displaying "18/01/2008 02:00:00 AM") and set the label to use the cell formatting then one would see that the value represented is "18/01/2008 01:59:60 AM".
If one were to apply their own "time" formatting to the label then the time will still display as "01:59:60 AM"
Now the problem is that it is display 1:59:60 instead of 2:00:00. How can I get around this? Am i missing a particular setting or is there a shortcoming in the software?
Thanks,
Anton Bosch
This issue is not reproducible in SP3. Consider upgrading to SP3.
