I want 2 matl types to have same number range .How to create it?

First you create number range in MMNR, then you click on groups, you create groups, then input your material types in that group bearing the required No and both material types will follow same number range assigned to the group.

maintain the 2 material types in one group at number range for material types.

you can and many materil types under one group.

one group can has one interval range. the same applies to all material types of that group

Hello,

You can define same number range for many material type but same material number for two different material types not possible.

Because basic information of material like material number, type, UOM, description is client level.
