My Inbox - Backend tasks are not displayed on the Gateway system

I have configured fiori my inbox, to enable users approve tasks from My Inbox, rather going in every application to approve. Even though configurations look fine but tasks are not visible in My Inbox central systems, though tasks are present in individual systems.

Everything is standard and there is no customization. Also, there are multiple items coming into the Central Hub which are not present in SBWP tcode of the backend system. The item that is present in SBWP is not visible on My Inbox.

Task filter is active on Gateway and inactive on the backend system. Also , i have maintained the task names on backend in Maintain Tasks and Decision Options in SPRO.

Central System --

SAP_BASIS - 750 11

SAP_GWFND - 750 11

SAP_UI 752 04

IW_PGW 100 08

Please advise .

Regards

Deep

Hi ,

  1. Check if task filter is enabled. then probably you have to configure the tasks that you would like to display in the Fiori inbox. IMG Activity Maintain Task Names and Decision Options.
  2. Check if the workflow customization SWU3 is carried out correctly.
  3. Check if scenario definiton is carried out. By mapping the system alias and the task ID.

1. Task filter is enabled in gateway. Maintain Task Names and Decision Options have been maintained in Bakcend system.

2. this is correct.

3. Scenario definition is not used.

Deep Bhai,

You need to assign system alias with Software Version: /IWPGW/BWF to your Odata service also maintain SAP_FND_BCR_MANAGER_T role to your gateway front end system.

Hi Abhishek,

This has been done already. If you understand my issue, My Inbox is already working for me. Only backend tasks are not visible on the gateway system after all configurations

Hi,

Please check any error presents in Gateway error log or not. Might be some service is not assigned to Gateway system.

Thanks

There are no errors on the error log.

there are items on Fiori launchpad My Inbox which are not available in SBWP of the backend.

SBWP has 1 item in backend but that is not visible on the Inbox on Gateway.

Also, the Gateway Inbox is correctly pointing to the backend system alias.
