Datasources are replicated as BI7 by mistake during replication of DS

Hi,

We have replicated the datasources from a R3 system to a BW system,. During the same,. we have popped a screen telling "How to replicate the following 143 datasources as

1. 3.x

2. Bi 7.0.

Obviously we should use the BW 3.X as a default. But by mistake this time, we have clicked as BI7.0.

So all the 3.x datasources are converted to BI7. and they are in Modified status,. We are unable to move the other dependant objects.

How to retrieve the datasources to again to BW3.5 version. We have tried RSDS but system is not allowing us to migrate as system is closed.

Kindly let us know what to do?

we know this. but for doing this, the system should be open for changes.

But we want to do the restoring work in QA system which is closed for changes, Let me know if any way i can do.

Any table level change or tcodes.

    Hi,

Delete that DS in BW and then again Replicate it else you can revert back to 3.5 using RSDS Tcode in BW check it.

    Thanks

Only option in this case is delete the datasource in BW system and replicate again from the source system.

Talk to your basis and explain the context to them so that they will help you to open the system and then USE RSDS transaction to restore the data sources back to 3.x version.

This is the only easy way to get the changes back in 3.x version.

      Hope this helps
