Hello,
Subcontractor requirements are seen on MD04 in two part, standart and
subcontractor area.
Subcontractor stocks are not included scope of MRP, however,
subcontractor requirements are seen in standart stock and they effect
on standart stock availability, and effect on MRP calculation.
Can you give a suggestion to solve that issue ? These requirements
should only seen in subcontractor area, not in standart area and should
not be taken account in MRP calculation.

Hi Onat,
A subcontracting requirement will only be displayed in the plant (net requirements) segment in the stock/requirements list if there is insufficient stock provided to the vendor to cover that requirement. Where sufficent stock exists at the vendor, the requirement will only be displayed in the subcontracting segment. This is indicated in the SAP R/3 Documentation as follows:
..
The system does not include requirements of materials provided by a subcontractor (vendor) that are already covered by existing stocks at the subcontractor's plant in the net requirements calculation. The system therefore does not display these requirements in the net.
Each segment(in MD04) stock has an own planning with its own stock and requirements. For each different subcontracting vendor a separate section in the stock requirement list. The subcontracting requirements are then displayed both in the plant stock and in the subcontracting stock. The requirement is covered however in the plant stock. Once the stock
is received the subcontracting requirement is then only displayed in the subcontracting section.
SAP note 550219 has good information also.
I hope this helps!
