Shipment from different branch warehouse possible? (branch function enabled in Business One)

Hi all,

we're implementing Business One in a company with three different branch offices within the same country. New Business One branch function seems to fit but it blocks certain requirements.

So far with branch function enabled one warehouse must be assigned to one branch.

We have now the scenario that one branch office creates a Sales Order. But the office is lacking the stock and they want to ship from head office warehouse where is enough stock. However sales (invoice) should still be registered in the branch office. B1 is now blocking the selection of headquarter warehouse because it is not assigned to same branch and I can also not just switch on Delivery.

Any best practice solution or possibility to get around this? Or is this a limitation in branch function?

You have to transfer by treating them as Sales with zero value.

This is the existing functionality in the Multi-Branch Scenario, as this will disrupt the working of account posting in SAP B1, it has been restricted.

You can refer the Note-2002062 for the same.

You will also face the same issue with the Fixed Asset Transfer, when Multi-Branch option is enabled.
