Blank screen with HTTP error when running VC model

Hello all,

I have a VC model with a number of charts which retrives data from BW using queries. The model works fine except when a large amount of data is involved. While running the model for small selections it runs fine, but when using a larger selection it results in a blank screen and the follwing popup error message. I couldnt find anything much in the trace files too.

While searching here found similar posts which referred to a SAP note 1160294. This was a problem with flash objects compression according to the note and we have applied it , but still no luck with the problem .

We are on ehp1, 7.01 SP5 and BI 7.0 .Runtime used is flash .

Browser used is IE6

Hope somebody could provide some inputs on this.

we had the same issue, here a full SP6 package solved our issue.

Thank you for your response. Bur we recently have moved to ehp1 SP 5 ,and now again moving to SP 6 would be

quite an issue . Or is there any way to apply the patch only on j2ee side if this will result in any improvement ?

Do update this thread if you have any other suggestions too.

We are badly stuck with this error coming in the PRD environment. Is this an issue with running the VC flash app or

can any optimization be done at BW report level to fix this.
