Hi all,
For the already new built GRC system, I am trying to configure buidling blocks 678: RiskAnalysis and Remediation.
1- In section 5.2 (5.2 Add Roles to Existing Users in User Management Engine) I have to add roles to the users which were created in ECC system. But in Identity management I could not see those ID's existing.
2 - I could not see these roles RE_ADMIN and CC_ADMIN in UME
Could anybody help me moving forward.
Thanks
Lakshmi
Hi,
In RAR under Master User source I can see SID of the ECC system . Is that the only thing I have to check?
I cannot see any of the ID of ECC system defined under Master User Source in RAR. But instead I see the user ID's of another system being synched in UME (This is the SID which I can see in System under NW System administration)
Please help
Thanks
Lakshmi

You're on the wrong track.
The users in ECC are the ones you're going to analyze for authorization risk.
The UME users will either have to come from a common user source, like LDAP or ABAP (depending on how your Java Stack has been configured), or you have to create them manually.
These are the users that are supposed to use the GRC system. In order to do that, they need Java (UME) authorizations. If you want to see those roles, you need to import the aforementioned files into UME. The files can be found in the VIRACCNTNT archive that you need to get from Service Marketplace with the rest of the installation files.
Frank.

Have you defined Master User Source in RAR ?

Initially you have to upload Roles in Identity management. There will be 3 files:
cc_ume_roles.txt
ae_ume_roles.txt
re_ume_roles.txt
Upload them in identity management then you will get these roles.
