regarding release strategy tabstrip

Hi when iam creating purchasing requisition i created one item with valuatio price 47,142.86 php

the i don't get the release strategy tab strip(i mean it is not blocked) but if i chnage the price to 47,142.87 then i get the release strategy tab strip(it is blocked) please let me know th reason

Hi,

You have check your classification in the customizing of release strategy.

Check the charactaristic values in the classification of release strategy.

If you have given >47,142.86 in classification, the value 47,142.87 is greater than 47,142.86 and hence the release strategy is activated.

You should have mapped the charactaristic with CEKKO-GNETW and the format will be copied to the chara.You can not round-off the value to nearest integer in comparison.

Hi,

Release strategy gets triggered at the time of creation of the PR only.

After creating PR , press "Check" icon at the top (before saving the PR).The release strategy tab will appear in the PR.

my problem is why it is getting blocked if i increase just 1 cent??where can i change the condition so that it will not be blocked though i in crease the prce to 1 cent more

hi,

The release strategy will be triggered based up on the characteristics values which you have defined and assigned it to the class in the release strategy for pr with classification method.

IN this for eg you have choosen purchase requisition value as >1000 and plant as 1010, while creating purchase req if these characteristics maintained then the release strategy will be triggered automatically.

if these characteristics are failing in the case, the rel strategy will not be there.
