Purchase Requisition

Hi all,

How can i maintain Order unit of Material in Purchase Requisition ,so that when converted to purchase order the order unit will be captured automatically from Purchase Requsition.The unit of measurement of the material is different from Order Unit in the Material Master.

Hi Phemmy,

You may use the alternate unit of measurement in additonal data of material master.

Hi,

PR can be create BUM in MMR.

then you cann't use other unit.

PO will refer the UOM either from Info record. or MMR either BUM / Order Unit.

I think ur issue not a problem..

Hopefully your order unit is maintained in material master. If not please maintain it as well. Then whatever ordering unit you use in PR and Po is created with copy of PR, ordering unit is copied as well from PR.

Thanks for your respond,Order unit and Unit of measurement is already maintain for the material in material master.But system will display Unit of measurement from material master to Purcahse Requisition,not Order Unit.Is there any field in Purchase Requisiton that Order unit and quantity can be manually entered.

You can enter the PO Unit of measure (Order Unit) In Item details Of PR doc. --> Source of supply tap .

Dear Friend,

If you are using ME21N, then whatever order unit you have mentioned in Material Mater, that will be copied in PO.

If you are using ME21, then whatevr UOM you maintain in the material master those can be used as OU, but are not copied.

however, Order Unit field is present in PR line item details.
