Transaction variant for IE01

Hi ,

When i am creating the Transaction variant for the Tcode IE01 in general TAB i am able to feeling the Field class by clicking on "Class Overview" button but when i am saveing it using the Transaction variant and making the class Field as default its Not working,when i am testing the Transaction variant the class Field is populating Blank value.

can You Please suggestme what i need to do for that.

Hi,

After entering the default values on the screen and before saving the transaction variant, Click on "W. content" checkbox for the corresponding fields. Make sure you see the default value in the Content for the field.

Hi

I am clicking the W field,But when i am Executing the Transaction variant the value is not appearing in the Screen,

Please suggest me what i need to do.

Hi ,

If you have put value in the IE01 screen and then selected the W.Content Option in Transaction variant then plz check whether you had activated the transaction variant in SHD0 -->Standard Variants Tab --->Standard Variants here give your transaction variant name and click activate button and in variant groups assign that to a particular group so that it will be applicable to that users in that group only ..i hope you had saved the variant in some package instead of local package ..
