Remove Surcharge Cess and Higher Education Cess from W Tax Certificate

Dear Support Team,

As per the changes in TDS rates from 01.10.2009 whereafter the Surcharge Cess and Higher Education Cess shall not be applicable on withholding tax, the posting do not reflect to the respective GL Accounts(Cess ) but when i print the TDS certificate the same shows Surcharge Education Cess and Higher Education Cess for documents posted after 01.10.2009.

Do i need to rectify the standard form or is their any other functionality to resolve the same.

The W Tax certificate format is issued by the income tax authority, Here we are using the same form with the surcharge and education cess. And if you see that in some cases still surcharge & cess is applicable.

So no need to remove that from the Wtax certificate.
