    Hi Sridevi

This all will come in consumption based planing

CBP work with Reorder point , Forecast based and time based requirement.

In Reorder point system will work stock levels and lot size . if the system stock below the minimum stock levels system generate the indents.

if lot sixe fx - fixed qyt

ex- lot for lot order qyt

hx- maximum stock levels system check the qty

    Hi there,

    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/f4/7d3f9344af11d182b40000e829fbfe/frameset.htm

You may also go to transaction OMI4 (MRP Lot Size).

Maximum stock level is used during MRP excution with lot size procedure

Please see F1 help documentation of field..

    Maximum stock level

Quantity of the material in this plant that may not be exceeded.

    Use

In materials planning, the maximum stock level is used only if you have

    chosen Replenish to maximum stock level as the lot-sizing procedure;

that is, you have entered HB as the lot size key.

    Procedure

Enter a value if you have chosen Replenish to maximum stock level as the

    lot-sizing procedure.

Please see attached note 51576 MD01: MRP type V1/V2: reorder point w.

    for more information.

    Hope this helps,

    Kind Regards,

    Matthew
