Hi Experts,
My client has a requirement of 2.5 days of monthly paid Leave quota for each employee. The condition is if the employee is absent for say 5 days in a specific month, the leave quota will be reduced by the following rule " ( 25/31) *2.5 days. and the actual Leave Quota Will be 2.0161 days. not 2.5 days.
I have already configured the Leave Quota as 2.5 fixed days for each employee for each month.
Please someone guide me solve the problem

First check this
This is standard configuration in table V_T559L.
You should select you quota generation rule and in tab "Accrual entitl." put option "Pro rata calculation".
If this doesnt work then
1. SM30 view T559M
2. Check if any reduction rule that satisfies your condition is already available. It should have following specifications.
In tab Reduction rule for part time employees a) Basic data = No reduction b) Key date = Exact date in accrual period
In tab Reduction regulation for inactive days
Reference period = Accrual period.
Pct of inactive calendar days = 0 %
To percentage = No reduction
From percentage = Proportionate reduction
3. You will require to use this in reduction rule in the Generation rules for quota selection view V_T559L
Double Click on your rule. In the ACCRUAL ENTITLEMENT tab give the reduction rule created in step 2 in reduction rule

And how have you configured your quota? to be accrued by RPTQTA00 or by Time evaluation?
Depending on how you have configured it you should run either TE or RPTQTA00.

Hi...
Pls follow the foll steps...in reduction rule....
a)Under Basic Data Tab : Select Weekly Workdays
b)Under Key Date fir Determining Part time Data--Select the corresponding accrual period...
c)Under Reduction Rule for Inactive Days--_Select Accrual Period.
d) Percentage of Inactive cal;endar Days -- 0.8%...
Calculation is : 25/31*2.5 = 2.01 ( If an emp is absent for 5 days, reduction quota is 2.01. SO equivalent percentage reduction for the same would be as follows...2.01 = X/100 *2.5.....So X=0.8)
Select Proportioante reduction.
This should work..
