Default fields value for Material Master

Hi,

Can we make the settings for the default value in material master plant wise, for our one plant for Raw material most of the field values are same for all the material so can we make theat values as default when we select the material type for a particular plant, so that user dont hvae to maiatin it all the items and the default values should be changable if required.

If you use MRP profiles, then you can get defaults for some fields.

Copy old material no. for creating new master for individual plants,it will default values from old material master.

Certain fields can't be changed like base unit of measure,profit centre,valuation class etc., when stock is entered / document

created for that material.

There is no configuration settings available to maintain Default values for material master.

while selecting the views sellect the views and click on default values. then that views will become default views

Go to organisation level screen enter your plant storage location etc and click on default values button, then that values will become default values.

go to su3 and maintintain default values.
