error Infoobject is not compounded

I am getting following message while running a query on a info set

"Infoobject ZOSI (Version A) is not compounded

Error During generation of views

errror reading the data of infoprovider

error while reading data,navigation is possible "

.If I a run query without characteristics restriction it giving the output but when i apply characteristics restriction its giving the above error.

I have one infocube and 2 direct update DSO in the infoset.

( data in these 2 DSO are filled through Analysis Process designer ).
