Service User is Request Initiator

Hello all,

We are on ECC 5.0 and EP 7.0 . While working on Mystaff -> Personnel change request scenarios , there are few areas

on which we need some more insight -

1) PCR request created by usrid - XYZ is getting saved in R/3 by the name of ESSMETADATA ( some service maintained in portal ) inspite of being saved by the id of actual initiator of request .

2) when we try to fetch the details of General Data table ( this includes initiator details ) , it gives me service user ( Essmetadata) details insted of providind initiator details .

Is it required to map a service userlike essmetadata , or the same work can be done through some other way .

As per basis team, this is needed . I am not sure if this is how it should be maintained.

Hi sahiba,

Mapping is not required.You can try fetching details for initiator in refference to service user.
