Hope your replies soon guys, really need your help...

Hi,

Yes...you are right.

Site and DC should be create in SAP Easy Access Transaction code WB01 (SAP Menu - Logistics - Retailing - Master Data - Site Data - Site - Create)

With regard to Storage Location:

A storage location is the place where stock is physically kept within a Site. Hence a storage location is always defined for a Site. Stocks are managed only on quantity and not on value basis in a storage location.

You can create Storage Locations using transaction code OX09 or using following path;

IMG- Enterprises Structure - Definition - Materials Management - Maintain Storage Location

After creation, you need to transport through STMS.

To Muralidhara:

Hei, thx so much...

And then how about the copy rule when we create site in WB01? Are the content that we define in copy rule is automaticly exported via wbte or we must transport it via STMS?

Sorry my english is bad... But do you get what i means?

Hi Kenz,

First, you have to create Reference DC and Site to simplify the process. When you copy, the following data is copied from the reference site;

(1) General site data

(2) Calendar

(3) Valuation / Inventory Management

(4) Listing

(5) Requirement Planning

(6) Distribution

(7) POS Interface

(8) Layout

After creation, you have to carry out Site Export and Import using transaction code WBTE

Here, you can execute above transaction codes in background or in foreground.

Then system creates one file BTRA in path: /usr/sap/trans/tmp in the exported system.

Log on to the target system to Import the site using transaction code WBTI

Before importing you need to move the file from Export system to Import system under the same path.

Execute it in Test mode and see any errors, then remove the tick of test run and execute to Import the site.

Hi Muralidhara

But what i mean is how about the configuration in copy rule? all that configuration in copy rule also transported via WBTE and WBTI?

Hi Kenz,

WBTE and WBTI transaction codes or exclusively for Site Master;;not for other configuration settings.

and then this is my last question... how about when we create vendor and customer when we create DC... how can we transport it? via WBTE and WBTI or upload it via LSMW?

Hi,

Transport i.e. Site Import and Export through earlier refereed transaction codes.

Hi Kenzoo,

This is for copy rule for configuration settings.

For copy rule, Go to SPRO> Logistics-General> Plant master/Control data---> Define plant profiles. In this please create a Site profile based on region wise .Say for example, US region-US01, FR region-FR01.

Here you can assign the reference site you created for this region and the copy rule can be 01(maximum)

Thanks,
