PM Order : Planned cost calculation happening on DURATION value !!

Hello Friends,

I am facing a strange situatiion in my PM order. The cost calculaton is happening on DURATION value instead of WORK

i.e

Planned cost = DURATION * ACTIVITY RATE instead of WORK * ACTIVITY RATE.

Appreciate if some one could help on this issue... and how to resolve this.

Sajid,

Check and make sure that you have maintained the right formula for capacity (SAP008 in Other formula) and Scheduling( SAP004 in Other formula) in the work center associated to that operation for the plant.

Could you specify the details of work, duration, capacity, activity rate and the resultant cost calculated by the system?

Duration = 4 H,

(No. of People) = 2 ,

activity rate = 10 USD/H

Calc key = calculate work

work (after calculation) = 8 H

resultant cost = 40 USD

Are you sure its 10/hr? Can you double check the rates for the specific period using KP26 for the activity type/cost center,version and period combination and also enter the details of Fixed price, variable price and price unit here?

Dear Narasimhan, - we had manitained a wrong Formula key for costing. When it was replaced by SAP008 it was working fine. Thanks for your support
