QM01 - Notification Long text

Hi Gurus,

For certain type of notifications say R1 - user requirement is to make certain fields mandatory.

Say like material, description, long text etc.

I have made material, description mandatory for R1 notification through customization.

But how to make the long text in notification mandatory?

Help required for this issue.

Hi ,

I am not sure but you can check with user exit :

QQMA0014 QM/PM/SM: Checks before saving a notification

In above user exit you can check with notification type and then use FM READ_TEXT to read long text and check ..
